Norfolk’s Police and Crime Commissioner, Lorne Green, will be holding a special Police Accountability Forum in Cromer next week dedicated to the police response to recent events in the town and surrounding area.

This public meeting will take place on Wednesday 6 September at 5:30pm at Cromer Parish Hall, 65 Church Street, NR27 9HH.

Lorne said: “I take seriously my responsibility to ensure an efficient and effective police force and to hold the Chief Constable to account for the policing service received by our communities. It is also my duty to ensure that the views and concerns of the Norfolk community are clearly and fully represented to the Constabulary.”

The meeting will provide an opportunity for the PCC to receive an update from the county’s Chief Constable on the review of policing in the Cromer area over the weekend of 18-20 August.

Members of the public will also have the opportunity to put their policing questions to the PCC and Chief Constable.
