Sharon Lister

Sharon is Director of Performance and Scrutiny.

She has worked in policing for over 30 years, spending 25 years with Norfolk Constabulary before joining the Police and Crime Commissioner’s (PCC) office in June 2014.

During her time with the Constabulary, she worked in a number of business areas including criminal justice, community safety, protective services, human resources and performance and analysis. In 2011, Sharon worked in London for Sir Hugh Orde when he was the president of Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO) and she led on the implementation of the ACPO Freedom of Information Act project.  Whilst in London, she also worked on the transition from Police Authorities to Police and Crime Commissioners.

Sharon has significant experience in performance management and intelligence analysis and, in her current role, she advises the PCC on all matters pertaining to policing performance and on governance arrangements for discharging the PCC’s scrutiny duties. Sharon also holds the role of Deputy Monitoring Officer for the Chief Executive. The Director of Performance and Scrutiny role's salary band is £60,960 - £65,076.

In her spare time, Sharon enjoys travelling and is a keen runner as well as being an active member of the Norfolk Constabulary running club ‘Norfolk Harriers’. She completed the London Marathon in 2017 for Norfolk-based charity Walking with the Wounded and often enters running events and raises money for local and national charities.
